2 new metro stations opened in Moscow
In the Russian capital, the Mnevniki and Narodnoe Opolchenie stations were opened, located on the western section of the Big Circle Line (BCL) of the city metro.
“The Bolshoy Moskovsky District received two stations for the first time, and the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line (BKL) has grown two more stations. In total, there are now 12 stations in the BKL, there are very few left – 19 more to build. But I am sure that we will cope with this task, ” the portal of the Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction quotes Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Stations Narodnoe Opolchenie (project name “Karamyshevskaya“) and “Mnevniki” became the first metro stations in the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district, where 174 thousand people live, and the planned population growth, taking into account the construction and prospective facilities and the implementation of the housing renovation program, is 76 thousand people. In the future, it will be possible to transfer from the Narodnoye Opolchenie station to the Rublevo-Arkhangelsk line of the Moscow Metro.
“The introduction of new stations is a kind of driver for the development of the Mnevniki district, where administrative and residential development will develop. It will also relieve the central lines: Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya and Filevskaya, ” commented Yuri Kravtsov, General Director of Mosinzhproekt JSC.
The expected passenger traffic is 40 thousand passengers per day, in the future it will increase to 90 thousand.
Note:
Narodnoye Opolchenie is the eighth station of the Moscow metro, built and commissioned using Hilti elements for fixing the lining of the track wall. This solution meets the high requirements of the metro for reliability and safety, which is especially important for the daily service of 10 million passengers.
In the construction of the station, the most modern European Hilti technologies were used, which made it possible to speed up the finishing and installation works and complete them on time in accordance with the decree of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
In the finishing of the station, a facade system is used, the design of which consists of two parts: a galvanized MR subsystem for the perception of wind loads and loads from the weight of the cladding, and an aluminum VFH system for high installation accuracy and creating a unique interior.
