St. Petersburg Metrostroy, with its 80th anniversary!
The history of the St. Petersburg Metrostroy began on January 21, 1941, when Order No. 27 "On the construction of the Metro in Leningrad" was signed.
It is difficult to overestimate the contribution of Metrostroy to the construction industry of St. Petersburg and Russia as a whole. For many decades, the company’s specialists not only successfully solved the main problem – the development of the Leningrad and now St. Petersburg metro but also participated in the implementation of the largest projects of federal importance.
Today’s difficult times are not a reason to forget about the merits of many generations of metro-builders who selflessly worked for the benefit of the city, who understood the measure of their responsibility to its residents, for whom underground transport infrastructure has become an integral part of everyday life.
Without a doubt, the future lies with high-tech enterprises that guarantee the quality and safety of construction, including the most complex facilities of underground urban infrastructure.
We hope that the St. Petersburg metro construction will stabilize the situation and increase the volume of work!
Happy Birthday, Metrostroy!
