Metro circle line is to be completed in Singapore
The construction of the tunnel for the circle metro line CCL6 is close to completion in Singapore. The TBM started operating at the final forth section of the line. The work begins from the underground station Keppel.
The station will be near the operating stations HarbourFront и Outram Park at the North-Eastern line of the Singapore MRT. The authorities (LTA) announced the construction of the tunnel towards HarbourFront. Two more TBMs are expected to join the work in September and October 2019.
Construction pace goes ahead of schedule. The total length of the circle line will be 35.5 km and comprise 33 stations after the completion of the construction of three remaining underground stations and tunnel. There will be 12 interchange stations.
